Marie McAndrew
Marie is a native of Mayo and started playing piano at the age of 12. She achieved an Associate Diploma in Piano Teaching with the Royal Irish Academy of Music at age 19. She holds a 1st class honours degree in Music from Maynooth University and has taught Music at secondary school level since 2008.
Marie has a love of all things music, having played piano, guitar, button accordion and drums for ceremonies and functions all over Ireland. She regularly plays keyboards and guitar with function / wedding bands in the west of Ireland. She has been teaching piano for over 15 years and we're delighted she is part of our team here at the Mayo School of Music.
