Rebecca Cresham

Rebecca’s love for music began by growing up in a household steeped in Irish Music, Dancing and Culture. Holding an Honours Degree in Music, she has been the recipient of a number of National High Achiever Awards, and she now enjoys this success with her own piano students.

Music has brought her to many an International stage such as Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands, and she has spent her most recent summers in Santiago de Compostela, teaching music and directing shows for Chester College International School.

Rebecca’s passion for music and teaching, is linked with it’s benefits to emotional wellbeing, self-esteem, creativity and expression, and she is currently completing her BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

As well as her love for teaching, Rebecca enjoys performing and has vast experience as piano accompanist. She is the resident accompanist for The Mayo Male Voice Choir, and with over 10 years experience of teaching music at National and Secondary School level, she is honoured to be part of the wonderful team that is, The Mayo School of Music.
